Don’t Think Twice (2016)

When a member of a popular New York City improv troupe (Commune) gets a huge break, the rest of the group – all best friends – start to realize that not everyone is going to make it after all.

Starring Gillian Jacobs (Samantha) and Keegan-Michael Key (Jack) as couples in their improv group.

The film centers around the Commune – an improv group of six best friends and lovers who are in their 30’s and are still working shitty day jobs to make ends meet. When a member of the group (Jack) auditioned for and found success in a hit Weekend Live TV show, the Commune begins to pick up larger audiences. However, the nightly improvs turn into a show centered around Jack, the local star.

Reasons to watch high:  When I’m high, I like to watch films that are either relatable or trippy, Don’t Think Twice falls into the relatable category. Seeing what the characters do during their improvs is absolutely hilarious because it’s so random but works brilliantly. It’s almost like listening to your friends dub a movie. Spontaneous and funny.

Through all the humor, I get hit with the thought, “can doing what I like doing make money? or will it always be a hobby?

Don’t Think Twice is supposed to be watched while high.
